March 28 – New Habitat Plan and Project on New 40 Acres

This week’s webinar is all about setting up a habitat plan and starting the work on a new 40 acre parcel in SW Michigan. My client just bought this property last summer and only hunted it a few times with little pre-scouting. And he still managed to take a decent buck the first year.

You’ll see a short tour of the property and some of the challenges, the preliminary plan, and the start of the first hinge cut bedding area we created last Saturday. Since there are no trails and no big equipment to speed up the process, this will be more labor intensive than your average property.

So follow along this year as we transform a wide open woodlot into a more predictable daytime hunting property.

If you know you need to make improvements to your hunting property but you’re not sure where to start, contact Randy.
